 Her quote "Do you know someone named Jack?" refers either to Jack of Shadows, a fictional magic entity who draws his powers from shadows, or to a character from an old folklore story, the origin of the Halloween Jack o'Lantern (Jack's Lantern), where Jack is banned from both heaven and hell and forced to wander in darkness for eternity using a pumpkin-lantern as source of light.
